After a complete lack of inspiration or drive to work on new projects over the last few months, I'm jumping in to a full-on project with a brand new character. He's a wizard with an anger problem, and it gets him into all sorts of wacky shenanigans. Here for your viewing pleasure is a quick reference sheet of his three basic emotions - annoyed, extremely frustrated, and vein-popping engraged. He's got a trusty steed who really isn't all that trusty when it comes to punctuality. Let's be honest - his unicorn is really third string on the team of mythical beasts. There was likely some inbreeding when this thing was produced. Plus, bulging eyes and toothpick sized legs don't translate into top odds of winning a survival-of-the-fittest battle royale, but his heart's in the right place.
These are some of the very first sketches so the final looks might get changed up a bit, but I like where they're headed. And these guys are fun to draw so maybe my attention span won't drift away from finishing them up.
I'm still figuring on names, too. Any suggestions I can steal?
